  • Wonderful Pinot Gris from this part of the world, high up the hill. Elevated at around 875m, these grapes are exceptional and surprised us in the winery. From a challenging vintage, this Gris certainly shone and delivered purity and style in spades.

    So the Gris forms 70% of our blend, while Gewurztraminer from another quality grower makes up the remaining portion. Both parcels were treated separately in the winery, but the fruit was all pressed and run partially to barrel - and in part, pressed to tank to settle, before racking off solids to barrel for fermentation.

    Stylistically we wanted this wine to be fine, fragrant, clear in the glass and focused on the palate. A wine that won’t challenge too much but one that will show its layers should you decide to look?!
