Strawberry Fields is back! Bright as a button, but with a hint of haze in the glass, our 2025 Meunier is simply delicious and perfect summertime / anytime drinking.

On the nose there’s abundant summer red berries, orange rind and pomegranate seed. Classic Meunier rosehip tea backed by juicy ripe watermelon. This year being warm at elevation, we opted to ferment using 40% carbonic maceration for 5 days. This method ensured amped up fruitfulness and freshness in a finer boned package.

There’s a hint of dusty new burgundian oak (10%) eeking tannin and just a flicker of new wood. The palate is plush, fruit forward but not without length backed by bright natural acidity. Our 2025 vintage Strawberry Fields is the perfect anytime-wine, best served with family and friends - and as always, don't be afraid to 'chill down' should the weather and occasion suit

The Burder vineyard is the highest elevated vineyard in Victoria at roughly 875m, so it gets very cold up there and offers a different style Meunier than that of lower laying Yarra Valley.”

  • Handpicked, hand-sorted and hands- off in every respect. Largely destemmed with around 10% whole bucnhes during wild ferment. Only a few weeks on skins with limited pump overs pre pressing. Once dry, into tank then barrel with 25% being a single new hogshead with steam bent staves for less oak impact. Bottled after only 5 months maturation, this wine is pure fruited in the ‘Strawberry Fields’ style. There’s a non filtered haze and freshness to the fruit that makes this wine moreish to the last.
