2025 Pinot Gris et al NEW RELEASE!

$38.00

With a copper, orange tinge, our delicious 3 way blend, consists mostly of Pinot Gris (95%), Chardonnay (3%) and Gewurztraminer (2%). Similarly made to prior vintages, 60% Gris was destemmed and fermented on skins for 11 days, whilst the remaining fruit was whole bunch pressed, direct to barrel and fermented (wild) until dry.

With skin contact comes interest - a flicker of phenolics and a lot more fun!

There's aromatics of orange citrus, orchard fruits and mandarin over potpourri and exotic musk spice. With fruit sourced from the highest elevated vineyard in Victoria, in what was a warmer vintage we picked this Whitlands High Plateau vineyard perfectly ripe - delivering wine with depth and freshness in equal measure - acidity and lees derived richness too. This is without doubt one of our most complex and delicious Gris we’ve made to date. A lush but stylish version of a wine we love to make - and drink!

Constantly evolving and changing things up to improve the end result… Our Pinot Gris et al is certainly a wine that many customers have grown to love. So whilst we won’t change ‘too much’ we’ll still tinker around the edges making minor adjustments suit the vintage and make our wine even better.
