A 50/50 blend of fruit from Gruyere and Kangaroo Ground, this Pinot Noir speaks of two different sites showing individual complexities and style from opposing sides of the Yarra Valley. Lifted aromas of redcurrent, violets and brambly fruit sit neatly over cinnamon and amaro spice. There’s a density to this Pinot - following a darker line, but lifted by fine blue florals and whole bunch highlights. There’s hints of malty new oak, bright acidity and fine, long tannins to finish.

A wine that will continue to integrate and unwind over the coming weeks, months and years. Enjoy to 2031+

  • 25% whole bunches used during ferment across 4 open fermenters. Regular pump overs, plenty of air- no hard plunging. Both fermenters allowed to warm in the latter stages of ferment, ensuring a rounder edge to tannins and sugar dryness. MLF and maturation occurred in new (10%) and old 500L puncheons.
